Maryland First Homes ("we," "us") is an independent website operated by Boss Leads. We help Maryland teachers and first responders learn about the First Homes for First Responders and Teachers program and connect with mortgage lenders who offer it. We are not a lender, and we are not affiliated with the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development or the Maryland Mortgage Program.
What we collect
When you use our eligibility form we collect the information you enter: your name, email, phone number, occupation, employment status, homeownership history, county, household size, household income range, estimated credit score, and home buying timeline. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the referring page.
How we use it
- To show you a preliminary eligibility summary.
- To share your request with up to three licensed mortgage lenders that offer the program, so they can contact you.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request, as you authorized on the form.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
Sharing
We share your information only with the mortgage lenders described above and with service providers that help us run the website, who may use it only on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your information to data brokers.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of email by using the unsubscribe link. To ask us to access or delete your information, contact us at the address below.
Security
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
